The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and the NFL Thanksgiving games prove one thing every year: this holiday has range. Whether you’re here for floats the size of buildings, football that gets louder with every family member who walks in the room, or the dramatic moment someone drops the mashed potatoes, there’s something for everyone. And just like the parade or the big game can capture millions of eyes in real time, 30 seconds on TikTok or Instagram Reels is more than enough to grab your audience’s attention. Leaning into trends is a fun and effective way to earn those quick scroll-stopping moments.

Since You Have Time to Scroll Trend

If you’re guilty of doom scrolling on TikTok or Instagram, then you’ve probably seen this ad that basically tells you to take a break or go to bed. It’s time to change that narrative and direct people to check out your business instead! After all, if they have time to scroll on social media, then they’ve got time to scroll on your site, book an appointment, etc. This one is easy and simply requires a quick photo of your notes app with the message you want to convey. Check out this example.

Kicking the Sharpie Video Trend

Start stretching, because this one requires a high kick, and it always makes us laugh. Get someone to hold up a marker and wind up for your kick. Just before your foot hits the marker, cut to a sock-covered hand (yep, you read that right) grabbing it and writing something down relevant to your business. In this example, @yycnewhomes wrote “Buy a home!” Add some text to the screen that says, “There’s no way they actually kicked that.”

Bees in The Trap Video & Audio Trend

This remix of What's Up by 4 Non Blondes and Beez in the Trap by Nicki Minaj is likely the most viral trend this month, with celebrities like Benson Boone and Brian May from Queen Hop, and the Kardashians participating. Here’s how it works: Grab a friend or your whole team, and assign your parts. Then lip-sync the words to each song while the camera person circles you. Voice Note Audio Trend

Does your boss send you voice memos or daily video updates, like ours? If so, you can use them to create original audio for TikTok and Reels. However, this isn’t a prerequisite for participating in this trend…and we advise against exposing any company secrets. Instead, record your boss brainstorming content ideas out loud–it can be real or pretend–and then act out each idea as literally as possible. We’ve seen everyone from software companies and gyms to motorsport teams hopping on this one.

Bradley Cooper CapCut Template

Pair this CapCut of Bradley Cooper strutting down the street, seemingly in his own world, with anything you plan to do with confidence. This example takes a more sarcastic approach, but it can be applied to any aspect of your job. For example, “How it feels knowing you're about to close another deal,” or “Walking into Thursday knowing you have Fridays off.” 

Still Trending: Quick Transition CapCut Template

If you’ve got extra b-roll lying around or can make time to film short video clips of your business, you could end up with a really cool and modern video like this one. This CapCut template uses fast transitions and transparent backgrounds to highlight your brand, and it’s perfect for TikTok and Instagram Reels.
