Q: My brokerage would like to advertise on a billboard. Are there any special disclosures that need to be present?
A: Advertising your real estate business on a billboard does not require any unique disclosures that are distinct from other forms of advertising. For advertising your firm’s real estate services on a billboard, the advertisement would have to display the firm’s name clearly and legibly. If the advertisement is being done by a licensee associated with the firm, the billboard would have to include both the firm’s name and the licensee’s name as well, with both being clear and legible.
